COMMUNICATION SKILLS TRAINING
Effective communication contributes more than any other skill to success in the work environment. It is the tool that develops and maintains constructive relationships and makes decision-making and problem-solving possible. Listening openly and accurately is key to making communication effective. Listening involves hearing the speaker, understanding the message, and communicating to the speaker that you understand. When you listen well, you have the data you need to make your communication as effective as possible.
As a result of this training you will be able to

We at Creative Learning Solutions always customize course content to fit your specific needs and work environment; we actually practice what we teach. We also customize course delivery to fit your work environment; the training can vary from a half day to two days, the latter given either as two full consecutive days or in shorter segments over time.
The course is participatory (rather than lecture), skill building, and fun. We use reflection, dyads, small group work, and large group discussion. The training actively engages participants with lots of skill practice, role plays, and feedback, so that these skills quickly become habits rather than just a training. Our use of solid adult education techniques and our skill in tailoring the course to the needs of the group gives us a proven track record of success. We offer an option of follow-up coaching and consulting after the training to assist in successful implementation of the new skills on the job.
